Description

Gijima is recruiting 5 IT interns to work on their Service Desk in Midrand. This is a structured internship for unemployed IT graduates residing in the greater Midrand area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT service desk support to internal and external clients
  • Build rapport with customers
  • Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Manage time effectively and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

  • Completed 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma, Degree, or Diploma) in IT, Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office/Office 365
  • No criminal record
  • South African citizen
  • Must not be participating in another learnership or internship
  • Must not be studying elsewhere
  • Must reside in the greater Midrand area
  • Under age 35 as of 1 May 2026
  • CompTIA A+ certification required
  • Excel certification required
  • ITIL v3 Foundation advantageous
